Well, I was lucky enough to discover this wonderful little song a few weeks ago and it got me to thinking. I certainly have my days where I feel like ‘Nobody Knows Me At All’ and those days can be quite lonely. After talking to others, I found that they felt the same way, so I am guessing we are not the only ones that have had that experience.

Now, I don’t know about you, but my favourite part of the Olympics was the wonderful feeling of community that was happening around our country and all over the world, everyone really came together and England felt like a very warm place despite the rain! Why not try taking on the challenge of making sure that we stay that way? In the next month, go out of your way to speak to one new person,, make them feel that somebody is trying to get to know them! You may find a new friend, or create a new story to tell or even learn something brand new and you will make that person feel great by showing an interest!

That song also made me wonder how well I know myself and I was surprised to find not as well as I thought! Small things like trying to read a new genre of book, I discovered I very much liked Crime Literature whereas before I had stayed far away from it! It felt really good and whats more I now have a whole new part of my life to explore, so why not try to learn something new about yourself as well as one other person, you might surprise yourself!

It is very important to know yourself, you may find your life getting fuller the more you learn and the more you reach out to others after all in the words of Dr Seuss, “You are you. Now isn’t that nice!”

Share your stories here, we would LOVE to hear them!
